Current user of US Mil hex code AE084A

Postby Roadrunner » March 16th, 2015, 12:42 pm

Picked the above up this morning, which is being populated by Active Display with 58-0015 which would appear to be wrong as that aircraft a KC135E was in AMARC and seen there as long ago as 2009. I doubt if it would have been returned to service. Only 2 people are shown as picking this up on MilMode S me and one other.......

You mention 58-0015 which is apparently active, Mil mode-s says AE084A is 58-0115 which is stored at AMARG.
Confusing..

Apologies,
The code that was received between 16/03/2015 07:45:38 and 16/03/2015 08:12:07 Alt 40,000 then 31,000 by my SBS3 (AE084A) and populated from the AD files (as 58-0115) so unless the aircraft showing that hex on the day is using an incorrect one then no other databases I have access to give anything different. Probably remain a mystery

Thanks guys for looking.

Further to my recent post. I have checked the times for AE0482 (58-0067) and they are 16/03/2015 07:43:18 (2m 20s ahead of AE048A) to 16/03/2015 08:12:13 (7s behind AE048A), altitudes 40,000 to 30,900 (start the same but 100 ft lower at end to AE084A). The times are just so close could it be a malfunctioning box on 58-0067?

My records show AE0842 was detected from 0721 to 0737 that day but I have never recorded the code AE084A. Odd innit?

My records mirror those of Bones, AE0842 from 0713 to 0759 but no record of AE084A at all.

Thanks Guys,

Does look more and more like some sort of ghost created by my SBS3. I take a log of Military flights from Mil Mode S for the period I am running each day and AE084A does not appear in that list.

Methinks I will be deleting that entry from my Database.
