UK VORs and NDBs - for many the end is nigh

Postby acarslogger » August 8th, 2014, 7:47 pm

The NATS have published plans to withdraw lots of VORs and NDBs.
It's what they call a RATIONALISATION OF THE UK GROUND NAVIGATION AID INFRASTRUCTURE.

See http://www.ead.eurocontrol.int/eadbasic ... -08-07.pdf .

Stuart

Link doesn't work as NATS AIS URLs are ephemeral, Stuart.

Best to navigate to the menu of Yellow AICS: http://www.nats-uk.ead-it.com/public/in ... id=57.html and then select Y080/2014.
