Austrain air traffic incidents

Postby satcom » June 14th, 2014, 6:00 am

Number of articles appeared yesterday about these incidents on 5th and 10th of June.

There seems to be a suggestion that this was NATO exercise linked
Its not uncommon for Mode S jamming to take place during mil exercises and is often mentioned in NOTAMS

Seems only high level traffic was affected

I have saved all mode S euro data for the dates concerned and have the times of the incidents on each day.
If anyone has info on which flights were affected , please PM me

More likely due to solar flares.

Mil jamming tends to be short range.
