The Radarspotters Forum is down and has been since late last evening.
The reason is that there was a massive storm over Copenhagen last night (RS servers are in central CPH)
There fell over 150mm of rain in two hours and there were over 5000 lightning strikes.
There have been many problems in central CPH with flooding and electricity outages.......

RS should be back online shortly.....I HOPE.

Hamish

EDIT: It seems that entry page is now up http://radarspotters.eu/

The database servers are still not up yet.

I have had enough of this...
Dan did NOT keep his promise to me or the members.

Lets get free speech back into the game.

I have now decided to start a new Radarspotters which I will set up and pay for the first year of operation, so I will be looking for some people who I know and trust to run it on a daily basis, I don't have much energy left and will be very much in the background with my feet up, I will however sort out any problems which may arise from time to time.

I need a little time to do this, I am busy at the weekend so it will be up sometime next week.

So Mr Brandao RS as you knew it will be back.....

Sláinte Mhath.........Hamish

Is this the reason why RadarSpotters is down and out today? If so, a pre warning should have been used to tell us of any impending changes due to be forthcoming. Unless of course, not withstanding, your post was a clear notice to us current members that RS is now going to return back to it's old self. I certainly wasn't expecting this, although I wasn't very happy with the running of the site of late. It got stale, tasteless and droll, and what was once a very carefree environment with the ever ending chatter back and forth ended in a matter of time that made me hold my breath in anticipation of what the web site had to offer to us all.

I wouldn't think so as Radarspotters is now owned and operated by Danny Dinneen not Hamish.

I can't get onto it either so it looks like a server side problem. I'm sure it will be back soon.
