Spammers

For general (non-commercial) chat unrelated to aviation. Discuss your favourite films and books, get advice on places to visit, and let everyone know about your spiffing new homepage. Spammers

Post by Anmer » September 26th, 2010, 9:48 am

We're still getting spammers posting here on a fairly regular basis.

Of the 157 new members since 1 September 2010, only 15 look genuine. The spammer names jump off the page.

It was never this bad before? What's changed?

Ok for now we will have to manually approve new members it will delay sign up time but ultimately lead to less spammers!

It would be nice to clear all the spammers out of the membership list so we could see how many of the 4222 names listed are genuine enthusiasts.
