Hi there. The UBC3500 is not included with the options to connect to the SBS1. However, having had the radio addition added to my machine and trying to use it with the AOR8600 I was not over impressed with what it offers. I Have ditched my AOR8600 (too complicated for an old codger like me) in favour of a UBC785XLT for base use and an UBC3500 for mobil. However, I do have copies of the excellent ARC785PRO and ARC3500 PC control programs from Butel. While not operated by SBS1 they do allow good use of the PC control facilities avialble on both radios.

I bought the firmware patch, for £30 and I have only used it once
I found it was better to controll the comms reciever from my PC,
that way I could chose the frequencies for it to scan

It'd be great if the 3500 could be controlled by the SBS :-)...I dont see why not!

The RadioInterface forum is intended for discussion of BIU files only rather than radio compatibility issues. It's a rather quiet forum..
