Re: 43C59F

It is indeed, Peter. Hex code for this airframe should be 43C5DF but it has been reported as using the miscoded hex 43C59F.

Re: 445566

Having said that I haven't seen this code before, I picked it up today. Start/End time 12:52:13Z.

I should have known that this would happen!

Re: 445566

The bursts are only a second or so in duration , but the mlats seem accurate needing at least three stations to be seeing the signal simultaniously In this case , it was "seen" by at least five ground stations. Which, I suggest, makes it unlikely to be an internally-generated "funny&...

Re: 445566

I've checked my archived SQB files for the last 3 years, all collected by Kinetic receivers (SBS-1eR and SBS-3) and I have no instances of the 445566 code.

Whose, mine? It's a full version of HP with SP1 and all relevant updates, up to and including KB2998527 which went in this morning.

I'm running BaseStation 184 on a Win 7 64-bit machine with all updates installed and have never had a BSOD.

Re: AE2FF7 operating RCH482

Hi Duane,

According to the live-military-mode-s.eu forum, AE2FF7 was used by an A-10 Thunderbolt II of the 81st FS/52nd FW. There is no tie-up to an individual airframe.

Re: 3E8198 GAF963

Almost impossible to say. The Luftwaffe tend to use "tactical" coding which means that the hex code for a particular airframe will change from day to day. The callsign would suggest either an A310 or a C-160 Transall.
